It's all about their unconditional love, really...the best gift in the world.terleehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13953328625206810683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1814066075216032494.post-40659663075462343292014-04-05T22:10:09.289-07:002014-04-05T22:10:09.289-07:00You did a beautiful thing for this lady and yourse...You did a beautiful thing for this lady and yourself -- and your pups deserve all the love you can give them. And yes, I got tears in my eyes reading this, but it's a lovely reminder of why these little souls make our lives so much better.

I know for a fact that our furry friends are tuned into us in ways we can't begin to imagine; mine have shown that whenever things go wrong or I'm wrestling with pain they know. I have bad mornings most of the time now with the arthritis flaring up in my hands, and you would not believe how gentle my two pups are with me when I hand-feed them something (and they're both very energetic, frisky and love to gobble up any snack.) My elderly cat sleeps with me every night, but recently he's taken to curling up next to my feet, which have also been bothering me lately.

I've been especially blessed to have such animals as my companions in life, but I think most days I'm their pet. How gray and dull life would be without them.

the authorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03220786472896283714noreply@blogger.com
